Parallel Sessions

Approximately 200 sessions will be held, selected by the IEHA Executive Committee, divided into parallel groups of twenty sessions:single sessions of 90 minutes (3 papers) or double sessions of 180 minutes (6 papers).

The chosen themes touch on all aspects of economic history and methodologies - including social history, urban and rural history, history of finance, economics of science and technology, gender history, cultural history, etc.

These themes are also at the intersection with other disciplines, in particular demography, the environment, anthropology, sociology, psychology, etc.

Beyond the breadth and diversity of research currently being carried out in economic history, the sessions also offer a reflection on methods in economic history, the history of economic thought or economic theory, as well as discussions on innovative practices for archival and other historical data sources.
